Mechanism of BlueTec^® Exhaust Gas After-treatment System

To detoxify NOx, the SCR catalyst resolves NOx into nitrogen and water with the use of AdBlue^® (aqueous urea solution). BlueTec^® also reduces CO2 emissions

Harmless and Safe for Handling

AdBlue® (aqueous urea solution) is harmless and anybody can handle it without the need for a special qualification.

Easy Replenishment

AdBlue® can be replenished from a bottle to the AdBlue® tank without a special tool. Replenishment from a large container is also easy when used in conjunction with a bowser.

AdBlue®Level Indication

The AdBlue® (aqueous urea solution) level is visible on the indicator and can also be checked on the Ivis indicator panel.
